First prediction of the passion

Luke 9:21 Yehusho strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone. 

Luke 9:22 “The son of man must suffer many things,” he said. “he must be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.”

Matthew 16:21 From that time on Yehusha began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

Mark 8:31 Then He began to teach them that the son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. 

Mark 8:32 He spoke this message quite frankly, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

Matthew 16:22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Far be it from you, Master!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

Matthew 16:23 But Yehusha turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”

Mark 8:33 But Yehusha, turning and looking at his disciples, rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”

Second prediction of the passion

Mark 9:30 Going on from there, they passed through Galilee. But Yehusha did not want anyone to know, 

Mark 9:31a   because he was teaching his disciples. ....

Matthew 17:22 When they gathered together in Galilee, Yehusha told them, “The son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.

Luke 9:44 “Let these words sink into your ears: The son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.” 

Matthew 17:23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.

Mark 9:31b .... He told them, “The son of man will be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise.” 

Mark 9:32 But they did not understand this statement, and they were afraid to ask him about it.
Luke 9:45 But they did not understand this statement. It was veiled from them so that they could not comprehend it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

Third Prediction of the passion

Mark 10:32 As they were going up the road to Jerusalem, Yehusha was walking ahead of them. The disciples were amazed, but those who followed were afraid. Again Yehusha took the twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to him: 

Matthew 20:17 As Yehusha was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said, 

Luke 18:31 Then Yehusha took the twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything the prophets have written about the son of man will be fulfilled. 

Luke 18:32 He will be delivered over to the gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon. 

Luke 18:33 They will flog him and kill him, and on the third day he will rise again.”

Matthew 20:18 “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the son of man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death 

Matthew 20:19   and will deliver him over to the gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. And on the third day he will be raised to life.”

Mark 10:33 “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the son of man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death and will deliver him over to the gentiles, 

Mark 10:34 who will mock him and spit on him and flog him and kill him. And after three days he will rise again.”

Luke 18:34 But the disciples did not understand any of these things. The meaning was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend what he was saying.

Passover is coming

Matthew 26:1 And it happened, when Yehusha finished all these sayings, he said to his disciples,

Matthew 26:2 You know that the Passover is coming after two days, and the Son of Man is betrayed to be crucified.

Mark 14:1a And after two days was the Passover namely unleavened bread, …

Luke 22:1 And the Feast of Unleavened Bread, being called Passover, drew near.

Matthew 26:3 Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas.

Matthew 26:4 And they plotted together in order that they might seize Yehusha by guile and kill him.

Mark 14:1b … and the chief priests and scribes were seeking with deception how they might seize him and kill him.

Luke 22:2 And the chief priests and the scribes sought how to destroy him; for they feared the people.

Matthew 26:5 But they said, Not during the Feast, that there be no turmoil among the people.

Mark 14:2 But they said, Not during the Feast, lest there will be a tumult of the people.

Vial of Ointment

Matthew 26:6 And Yehusha being in Bethany, in Simon the potter’s house,

Matthew 26:7a woman came to him having an alabaster vial of ointment, very precious. And she poured it on the leader of those reclining.

Mark 14:3 And he being in Bethany in the house of Simon the potter, as he reclined, a woman came, having an alabaster vial of pure, costly ointment of nard. And breaking the alabaster vial, she poured it over the leader.

Matthew 26:8 But seeing, his disciples were indignant, saying, For what is this waste?

Mark 14:4 And some were being offended within themselves, and saying, To what has this waste of the ointment occurred?

Matthew 26:9 For this ointment could have been sold for much and be given to the poor.

Mark 14:5 For this could be sold for over three hundred denarii, and to be given to the poor. And they were angry with her.

Matthew 26:10 But knowing, Yehusha said to them, Why do you cause trouble to the woman? For she worked a good work toward me.

Mark 14:6 But Yehusha said, Let her alone. Why do you cause her troubles? She worked a good work toward me.

Matthew 26:11 For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me.

Mark 14:7 For you have the poor with you always, and when you wish, you can do well toward them. But you do not have me always.

Matthew 26:12 For in putting this ointment on my body, she did it in order to bury me.

Mark 14:8 What this one held, she did. She took beforehand to anoint my body for the burial.

Matthew 26:13 Truly I say to you, Wherever this good news is proclaimed in all the world, what she did will be spoken off for a memorial of her.

Mark 14:9 Truly I say to you, Wherever this good news is proclaimed in all the world, what this one did will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Judas and the priests

Luke 22:3 And Satan entered into Judas, the one having been called Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve.

Matthew 26:14 Then one of the twelve going to the chief priests, the one called Judas Iscariot

Matthew 26:15 said, What will you give to me, and I will deliver him up to you? “And they weighed to him thirty silver pieces.” (Zech. 11:12)

Mark 14:11a And hearing, they rejoiced and promised to give him silver. ...

Luke 22:5 And they exulted, and they agreed to give him silver.

Luke 22:4 And going, he talked with the chief priests and the commanders as to how he might deliver him up.

Matthew 26:16 And from then he sought opportunity that he might betray him. 

Mark 14:11b ... And he sought how he might opportunely betray him.

Luke 22:6 And he fully consented and sought opportunity to betray him to them, away from the crowd.

Where to prepare Passover meal 

Matthew 26:17 And on the first (day) of the Feast of Unleavened, the disciples came to Yehusha , saying to him, Where do you desire we should prepare for you to eat the Passover?

Mark 14:12 And on the first day of the Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover, his disciples said to him, Where do you desire that going we may prepare that you may eat the Passover?

Luke 22:7 And the day of the Unleavened came, on which the Passover must be slaughtered.

Luke 22:8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Having gone, prepare for us the Passover, that we may eat.

Luke 22:9 And they said to him, Where do you desire that we prepare?

Matthew 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to a certain one and say to him, our Master says, my time has arrived; with you I will prepare the Passover with my disciples.

Mark 14:13 And he sent two of his disciples, and said to them, Go into the city. And you will meet a man carrying a vessel of water. Follow him.

Mark 14:14 And wherever he goes in, say to the housemaster, The Master says, Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?

Mark 14:15 And behold he will show you a large upper room that is furnished. Make ready and prepare that place for us.

Luke 22:10 And he said to them, Behold when you enter into the city you will meet up with a man who is bearing a skin of water. Go after him and where he enters,

Luke 22:11 And you will say to the housemaster of that house, Our Master says to you, Where is the guest

room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?

Luke 22:12 And that one will show you a large upper room which he has furnished. Prepare there.

Matthew 26:19 And the disciples did as Yehusha ordered them, and prepared the Passover.

Mark 14:16 And his disciples went out and came into the city and found it as he told them. And they prepared the Passover.

Luke 22:13 And having gone, they found as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

The Passover Meal on the evening of the 14th of the 1st month

(The Last Seder; The Lord’s Supper)

Matthew 26:20 And evening having come, he reclined with the Twelve.

Mark 14:17 And evening having come, he came with the Twelve.

Luke 22:14 And when the hour came, he reclined, and the twelve apostles with him.

Luke 22:15 And he said to them, I have greatly desired that I eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

Who is to be greater

Luke 22:24 And there was also a dispute among them, who of them seems to be greater.

Luke 22:25 And Yehusha said to them, The kings of the Gentiles are their masters and those who are authorities over them are called doers of good.

Luke 22:26 But you be not so, but the greater among you, let him be as the lesser; and the one governing as the one serving.

Luke 22:27 For who is greater, the one reclining, or the one serving? Is it not the one reclining? But I am in your midst as one serving.

Luke 22:28 But you are those continuing with me during my trial.

Luke 22:29 And I appoint a kingdom to you, as my Father appointed to me,

Luke 22:30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The bread

Matthew 26:26 And as they ate, taking the bread and blessing it, Yehusha broke and gave to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is (like) my body.

Mark 14:22 And as they were eating, Yehusha took bread, and blessed it and broke and gave to them. And he said, Take, eat, this is my (like) body.

Luke 22:19 And he took bread and gave thanks and broke it and gave it to them and said, This is (like) my body, which for your sake is given. Do this for my memorial.

Luke 22:16 For I say to you that from now on, I will not eat of it again until when it is fulfilled in the kingdom of Elohim!

One of you will betray me

Matthew 26:21 And as they were eating, he said, Truly I say to you that one of you will betray me.

Mark 14:18 And as they were reclining and eating, Yehusha said, Truly I say to you, one of you will betray me, the one eating with me.

Luke 22:21 But, behold, the hand of my betrayer is on the table with me!

Matthew 26:22 And grieving exceedingly, they began to say to him, each of them, Master, is it I?

Mark 14:19 And they began to be grieved, and to say to him one by one, Not at all I, is it? And another, Not at all I, is it?

Luke 22:23 And they began to inquire among themselves who then it may be of them, the one being about to do this.

Matthew 26:23 But answering, he said, The one dipping the hand with me in the dish will betray me.

Mark 14:20 But answering, he said to them, It is one from the Twelve, the one dipping in the dish with me.

Matthew 26:24 Indeed, the son of man goes, as it has been written about him. But woe to that man by whom the son of man is betrayed. It were good for him if that man was never born.

Luke 22:22 And, indeed, the Son of Man goes according as was determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!

Mark 14:21 Truly the son of man goes as it has been written concerning him, but woe to that man through whom the son of man is betrayed! It were good for him if that man had never been born.

Matthew 26:25 And answering, the traitor, Judas, said, is it I, Rabbi? he said to him, You have said it.

The wine

Matthew 26:27 And taking the cup, and giving thanks, he gave to them, saying, Drink all of it.

Mark 14:23 And taking the cup, giving thanks, he gave to them. And they all drank out of it.

Luke 22:20a… And in like manner the cup, after having supped, saying, …

Matthew 26:28 For this represents my blood of the renewed Covenant which concerning many is being poured out for remission of sins.

Mark 14:24 And he said to them, This is (like) my blood, that of the renewed Covenant, which is poured out concerning many.

Luke 22:20b …This cup is the renewed Covenant in my blood, which is being shed for your sakes.

Luke 22:17 And taking a cup, giving thanks, he said, Take this and divide it among yourselves.

Matthew 26:29 But I say to you, I will not at all drink of this fruit of the vine after this until that day when I drink it anew with you in the kingdom of my Father.

Mark 14:25 I say truly to you that I will not drink from the fruit of the vine again until that day in which I will drink it anew in the Kingdom of Elohim.

Luke 22:18 For I say to you that I will not drink from the produce of the vine again until the kingdom of Elohim comes!

Mount of Olives

Matthew 26:30 And offering praise, they went to the Mount of Olives.

Mark 14:26 And singing a hymn, they went to the Mount of Olives.

Matthew 26:31 Then Yehusha said to them, You all will be offended in me during this night. For it has been written, “I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.” (Zech. 13:7)

Mark 14:27 And Yehusha said to them, All of you will be made to stumble at me in this night. For it is written that, “I will strike the shepherd and his lambs will be scattered.” (Zech. 13:7)

Matthew 26:32 But after my resurrection I will go before you into Galilee.

Mark 14:28 But after my rising up, I will go before you into Galilee.

Peter will stumble

Luke 22:31 And the Master said, Simon, Simon, behold! Satan wants to sift all of you like wheat.

Luke 22:32 And I have prayed over you that your faith may not weaken. Also in time you will turn and strengthen your brothers.

Matthew 26:33 And answering, Peter said to him, Even if all will be offended in you, I will never be offended.

Mark 14:29 But Peter said to him, Even if all of them are being stumbled, I will not stumble.

Luke 22:33 And he said to him, Master, I am ready to go both to prison and to death with you.

Matthew 26:34 Yehusha said to him, Truly I say to you, During this night, before a cock crows, you will deny me three times.

Mark 14:30 And Yehusha said to him, Truly I say to you that today, in this night, before a cock crows entirely, you will deny me three times.

Luke 22:34 And he said, Peter, I say to you, A cock will not crow today before you will deny knowing me three times.

Matthew 26:35 Peter said to him, Even if it were necessary for me to die with you, I will not deny you, never! And all the disciples said the same.

Mark 14:31 But he said more fervently, If I must die with you, I will not deny you, my Master, never! And all said likewise.

YHWH will provide

Luke 22:35 And he said to them, When I sent you without a purse, or a wallet, or sandals, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing.

Luke 22:36 Then he said to them, But now, the one having a purse, let him take it; likewise also a wallet. And the one not having, let him sell his garment, and let him buy a sword.

Luke 22:37 For I say to you that this that has been written must yet be fulfilled in me: “And he was numbered with the wicked.” For the things concerning me will be fulfilled. (Isa. 53:12)

Luke 22:38 And they said, Master, behold, here are two swords. And he said to them, It is sufficient.

Prayers at Gethsemane

Matthew 26:36 Then Yehusha came with them to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to the disciples, Sit here, while I go and pray.

Mark 14:32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, Sit here while I pray.

Luke 22:39 And going out, according to his custom, he went to the Mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

Matthew 26:37 And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to grieve and to be deeply troubled.

...14:33 And he took along Peter and Jacob and John with him. And He began to be awe-struck and to be deeply troubled.

Matthew 26:38 Then he said to them, my soul is deeply grieved, even unto death. Stay here and watch with me.

Mark 14:34 And he said to them, Grievous, even unto death is this situation to my soul. Remain here and be alert.

Luke 22:40 And having come on the place, he said to them, Pray that you do not enter into temptation.

Luke 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them, about a stone’s throw. And having placed the knees, he prayed,

Matthew  26:39 And going forward a little, he fell on his face, praying, and saying, my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not as I will, but as you will.

Mark 14:35 And going forward a little, he fell on the ground and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Mark 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to you; take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.

Luke 22:42 saying, Father, if You purpose it, take away this cup from me; but not my will be done, but let Yours be done.

Luke 22:43 And a cherub from Heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony, he prayed more intently. And his sweat became as drops of blood falling down onto the earth.

Matthew 26:40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, So! Were you not able to watch one hour with me?

Mark 14:37 And he came and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, Simon, do you sleep? Were you not strong enough to watch one hour?

Luke 22:45 And rising up from the prayer, coming to his disciples, he found them sleeping from grief.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that you do not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Mark 14:38 Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit truly is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Luke 22:46 And he said to them, Why do you sleep? Rising up, pray that you do not enter into temptation.

Matthew 26:42 Again, going away a second time, he prayed, saying, my Father, if it is not possible for this cup to pass away except I drink it, let your will be done.

Mark 14:39 And going away again, he prayed, saying the same thing.

Matthew 26:43 And coming, he again found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

Mark 14:40 And returning, he found them sleeping again, for their eyes were heavy. And they did not know what to answer him.

Matthew 26:44 And leaving them, going away again, he prayed a third time, saying the same word.

Matthew 26:45 Then he came to his disciples and said to them, Sleep on, and rest for what time remains. Behold, the hour draws near, and the son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Mark 14:41 And he came a third time, and said to them, Sleep on now, and rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners

The betrayal

Matthew 26:46 Rise up, let us go. Behold, the one betraying me draws near.

Mark 14:42 Rise up, let us go. Behold, the one betraying me has drawn near.

Matthew 26:47 And as he was yet speaking, behold, Judas the traitor came, one of the Twelve. And with him was a numerous crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

Mark 14:43 And at once, he yet speaking, Judas comes up, being one of the Twelve. And with him was a great crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

Luke 22:47a And as he was yet speaking, behold, a crowd! And the one called Judas, one of the Twelve,….

Matthew 26:48 And the traitor gave them a sign, saying, Whomever I may kiss, it is he; seize him.

Mark 14:44 And the one traitor, betraying him had given them a sign, saying, Whomever I kiss, it is he; seize him and lead him away safely.

Matthew 26:49 And coming up at once to Yehusha, he said, Hail, Rabbi. And he ardently kissed him.

Mark 14:45 And coming, at once drawing near to him, he said, Rabbi, Rabbi! And he kissed him.

Luke 22:47b ….came in front of them and drew near to Yehusha in order to kiss him.

Matthew 26:50a But Yehusha said to him, Is it for this reason you have come my friend? …

Luke 22:48 And Yehusha said to him, Judas, do you betray the son of man with a kiss?

Matthew 26:50b …Then coming up, they laid hands on Yehusha and seized him.

... 14:46 And they laid their hands on him and seized him.

Matthew 26:51 And, behold, one of those with Yehusha, stretching out the hand, drew his sword and struck the slave of the high priest and took off his ear.

Mark 14:47 But a certain one of those standing by, drawing a sword, struck the slave of the high priest and took off his ear.

Luke 22:50 And a certain one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear.

Luke 22:49 And those around him seeing that about to occur, they said to him, Master, shall we strike with the sword?

Matthew 26:52 Then Yehusha said to him, Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword shall perish by a sword.

Luke 22:51 And answering, Yehusha said, Allow it until this. And touching his ear, he healed him.

Matthew 26:53 Or do you think that I am not able now to call on my Father, and he will place beside me more than twelve legions of cherubs?

Matthew 26:54 How then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen this way?

Matthew 26:55a In that hour, Yehusha said to the crowds, Have you come out to take me with swords and clubs, as against a bandit?

Mark 14:48 And answering, Yehusha said to them, Have you come out with swords and clubs to take me, as against a robber?

Luke 22:52 And Yehusha said to those coming upon him, chief priests, and commanders of the sanctuary, and elders, Have you come out with swords and clubs as against a robber?

Matthew 26:55b I sat with you daily teaching in the sanctuary, and you did not lay hands on me.

Mark 14:49 I was with you daily teaching in the sanctuary, and you did not seize me. But it is that the Scriptures may be fulfilled.

Luke 22:53 I was among you everyday in the sanctuary, and you did not lay hands upon me, but this is your hour and the power of darkness.

Matthew 26:56a But all this is happening that the Scriptures of the prophets may be fulfilled.

Matthew  26:56b Then all the disciples ran away, forsaking him.

Mark 14:50 And leaving him, all fled.

Mark 14:51 And one, a certain young man, was following him, having thrown a linen cloth about his naked body. And the young men seized him.

Mark 14:52 But forsaking the linen cloth, he fled from them naked.

To the House of the High Priest

Matthew 26:57 And those who had seized Yehusha led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

Mark 14:53 And they led Yehusha away to Caiaphas, the high priest. And all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes came together to him.

Luke 22:54a And laying hold of him, they led him away and led him into the house of the high priest.

Matthew 26:58 And Peter followed him from a distance, even to the court of the high priest. And going inside, he sat with the under-officers to see the end.

Mark 14:54 And Peter followed him from a distance, to the inside of the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting with the under-officers, also warming himself toward the light.

Luke 22:54b And Peter followed at a distance.

Luke 22:55 And lighting a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and they sitting down, Peter sat in their midst.

Luke 22:63 And the men who were holding Yehusha mocked him, beating him.

Luke 22:64 And blindfolding him, they were striking his face and questioning him, saying, Prophesy, who is the one who struck you?

Luke 22:65 And blaspheming, many other things they said to him.

The Trial Day

Luke 22:66a And when the (due) day came, the body of elders of the people, the chief priests and scribes, were gathered. And they led him away into their Sanhedrin, …

Matthew 26:59 And the chief priests and the elders and the whole Sanhedrin looked for false testimony against Yehusha, so that they might put him to death,

Matthew 26:60a but did not find any, even though there were many false witnesses coming forward, they did not find any.

Mark 14:55 And the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin sought testimony against Yehusha, to put him to death. And they found none.

Mark 14:56 For many falsely testified against him, but the testimonies were not identical.

Matthew 26:60b But at last, coming up two false witnesses

Matthew 26:61 said, This one said, I am able to destroy the sanctuary of Elohim, and in three days to rebuild it.

Mark 14:57 And standing up, some falsely testified against him, saying,

Mark 14:58 We heard him saying, I will throw down this sanctuary made with hands, and in three days I will build another not made with hands.

Mark 14:59 And neither in this was their testimony identical.

Matthew 26:62 And standing up, the high priest said to him, Do you answer nothing? What do these witness against you?

Mark 14:60 And standing in the middle, the high priest questioned Yehusha, saying, Do you not answer? Nothing? What do these testify against you?

Matthew 26:63 But Yehusha kept silent. And answering, the high priest said to him, I put you on oath by the living Elohim that you tell us if you are the Messiah, the son of Elohim.

Mark 14:61 But he was silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest questioned him, and said to him, Are you the Messiah, the son of the Blessed?

Luke 22:66 b …saying,

Luke 22:67a If you are the Messiah, tell us.

Luke 22:67b And he said to them, If I tell you, you will in no way believe.

Luke 22:68 And also if I ask, in no way will you answer me, or let me go.

Matthew 26:64 Yehusha said to him, you said it. I tell you more. From this time you shall see the son of man sitting off the right of Mighty One, and coming on the clouds of the heaven. (Psa. 110:1; Dan. 7:13)

Mark 14:62 And Yehusha said, I am he. And you will see the son of man sitting off the right hand of Might, and coming with the clouds of the heaven. (Psa.110:1; Dan. 7:13)

Luke 22:69 From now on the son of man will be sitting at the right of the might of Elohim. (Psa. 110:1)

Luke 22:70 And they all said, Then are you the son of Elohim? And he said to them, you say it, because I am he.

Matthew 26:65 Then the high priest tore his garments, saying, he blasphemed! Why do we have any more need of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.

Mark 14:63 And tearing his garments, the high priest said, Why do we still have need of witnesses?

Luke 22:71 And they said, Why do we yet have need of witness? For we ourselves heard it from his mouth.

Matthew 26:66 What does it seem to you? And answering, they said, he is deserving of death.

Mark 14:64 You heard the blasphemy. What does it seem to you? And all of them judged that he deserved death.

Matthew 26:67 Then they spat upon his face and they were striking him on his head, and others were beating him.

Matthew 26:68 saying, Prophesy to us, Messiah. Who is the one striking you?

Mark 14:65 And some began to spit at him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with the fist, and to say to him, Prophesy! And the under-officers struck him with slaps.

Peter denies Christ

Matthew 26:69 And Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And one girl came near to him, saying, And you were with Yehusha the Galilean.

Mark 14:66 And Peter being in the court below, one of the high priest’s female slaves comes.

Mark 14:67 And seeing Peter warming himself, looking at him, she said, And you were with Yehusha the Nazarene.

Luke 22:56 And a certain female slave seeing him sitting near the light, and looking intently at him, she said, And this one was with him.

Matthew 26:70 But he denied before all, saying, I do not know what you say.

Mark 14:68 But he denied, saying, I do not know nor understand what you say. And he went out into the forecourt. And a cock crowed.

Luke 22:59 And about an hour intervening, a certain other one boldly charged, saying, Truly this one also was with him, for he also is a Galilean.

Mark 18:26 One of the slaves of the high priest, being a relative of the one whose ear Peter cut off, said, Did I not see you in the garden with him?

Matthew 26:74 Then he began to curse and to swear, I do not know the man. And immediately a cock crowed.

Judas repents

Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, the traitor, seeing that he was condemned, repenting, returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,

Matthew 27:4 saying, I sinned, betraying innocent blood. But they said, What is it to us? You see to it.

Matthew 27:5 And tossing the silver pieces into the sanctuary, he left. And going away he hanged himself.

Matthew 27:6 And taking the pieces of silver, the chief priests said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood.

Matthew 27:7 And taking counsel, they bought of them the field of a potter, for burial for strangers.

Matthew 27:8 So that field was called Field of Blood until today.

Matthew 27:9 Then was fulfilled that spoken through the prophet, saying, And I took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him who had been priced, on whom they of the sons of Israel set a price,

Matthew 27:10 and gave them for the field of a potter, as MASTER directed me. (Zech. 11: 12, 13)

Led to Pilate

Matthew 27:1 And early morning occurring, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel together against Yehusha, so as to put him to death.

Matthew 27:2 And binding him, they led him away and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

Mark 15:1 And immediately in the morning, the chief priests with the elders and scribes and all the Sanhedrin having made a council, and having bound Yehusha, they led him away and delivered him to Pilate.

Luke 23:1 And rising up, all the multitude of them led him before Pilate.

Matthew 27:11 And Yehusha stood before the governor. And the governor questioned him, saying, Are you the king of the Jews? And Yehusha said to him, You have said it.

Mark 15:2 And Pilate questioned him, Are you the king of the Jews? And answering, he said to him, You have said it.

Luke 23:3 And Pilate questioned him, saying, Are you the king of the Jews? And answering, him, he said, You say it.

Matthew 27:12 And when he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he answered nothing.

Mark 15:3 And the chief priests urgently accused him of many things. But he answered nothing.

Luke 23:2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this one perverting the nation, and forbidding to give the head tax to Caesar, saying himself to be a king, Messiah.

Matthew 27:13 Then Pilate said to him, Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?

Mark 15:4 But Pilate again questioned him, saying, Do You answer nothing? Behold, how many things they testify against you.

Matthew 27:14 And he did not answer him, not even to one word, so that the governor greatly marveled.

Mark 15:5 But Yehusha answered no more, nothing, so as for Pilate to marvel.

Luke 23:4 And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, I find nothing blamable in this man.

Luke 23:5 But they insisted, saying, he stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to here.

Luke 23:6 And hearing Galilee, Pilate asked if the man is a Galilean.

Luke 23:7 And knowing that he is from Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him up to Herod, he also being in Jerusalem in these days.

Sent to Herod

Luke 23:8 And seeing Yehusha, Herod greatly rejoiced, for he was wishing to see him for a long time, because of hearing many things about him. And he hoped to see some miraculous sign being brought about by him.

Luke 23:9 And he questioned him in many words. But he answered him not a thing.

Luke 23:10 And the chief priests and the scribes stood fiercely accusing him.

Matthew 27:28 And stripping him, they put a scarlet cloak around him.

Matthew 27:29 And they wove a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand. And they bowed down upon their knees before him and they were mocking at him and saying, “Peace, King of the Jews.”

Mark 15:17 And they put purple on him, and they plaited and placed a crown of thorns on him.

Mark 15:18 And they began to salute him, Hail, king of the Jews!

Luke 23:11a And Herod insulted him, and when he had mocked him, his soldiers clothed him with garments of purple.

Back to Pilate

Luke 23:11b and [Herod] sent him to Pilate.

Luke 23:12 And on that same day, both Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for before they were at enmity between themselves.

Luke 23:13 And having called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

Luke 23:14 Pilate said to them, You brought this man to me as perverting the people. And, behold, examining him before you, I found nothing blamable in this man regarding that which you charge against him.

Luke 23:15 But neither did Herod, for I sent you up to him; and, behold, nothing worthy of death is done by him.

Luke 23:16 Therefore chastising him, I will release him.

Yehusha or Barabba

Matthew 27:15 And down from the Feast (kατὰ ἑορτὴν), the governor customarily released one prisoner to the crowd, whom they wished.

Mark 15:6 And down from the Feast, he released to them one prisoner, whomever they asked.

Luke 23:17 And he (Pilate) had to release to them one at the Feast.

Matthew 27:16 And they had then a notable prisoner, Barabba.

Mark 15:7 And there was one called Barabba, having been bound with the insurgents, who in the insurrection had committed murder.

Mark 15:8 And crying aloud, the crowd began to beg him to do as he always did to them.

Mark 15:9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Do you desire I should release to you the king of the Jews?

Mark 15:10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him up through envy.

Luke 23:18 And they all together shouted, saying, Take this one, and release Barabba to us

Luke 23:19 (he who was thrown into prison due to some revolt and murder occurring in the city.)

Matthew 27:17 Then they, having been assembled, Pilate said to them, Whom do you wish I may release to you, Barabba, or Yehusha being called Messiah?

Matthew 27:18 For he knew they delivered him up through envy.

Matthew 27:19 But as he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Let nothing be to you and that just one. For I have suffered many things today by a dream because of him.

Matthew 27:20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds, that they should ask for Barabba, and to destroy Yehusha.

Mark 15:11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that rather he should release Barabba to them.

Matthew 27:21 And answering, the governor said to them, From the two, which do you wish that I release to you? And they said, Barabbas.

Matthew 27:22a Pilate said to them, What then should I do to Yehusha being called Messiah?

Mark 15:12 But answering again, Pilate said to them, What then do you desire I do to him whom you call king of the Jews?

Luke 23:20 Then Pilate again called out, desiring to release Yehusha.

Matthew 27:22b They all say to him, Crucify him!

Mark 15:13 And again they cried out, Crucify him!

Luke 23:21 But they shouted, saying, Crucify! Crucify him!

Matthew 27:23a But the governor said, For what badness did he do?

Mark 15:14a But Pilate said to them, For what evil did he do?

Luke 23:22 And a third time he said to them, For what evil did this one do? I found no cause of death in him. Therefore, chastising him, I will release him.

Matthew 27:23b But they the more cried out, saying, Crucify!

Mark 15:14b But they much more cried out, Crucify him!

Luke 23:23 But with loud voices they insisted, asking for him to be crucified. And their voices, and that of the chief priests, prevailed.

Matthew 27:24 And seeing that nothing is gained, but rather an uproar occurs, taking water, Pilate washed his hands before the crowd, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this righteous one; you do as you please.

Matthew 27:25 And answering, all the people said, let his blood be on us and on our children.

Mark 15:15a And having decided to do the easiest to the crowd,

Luke 23:24 And Pilate commanded their request to be granted.

Luke 23:25 And he released to them the one thrown into prison due to revolt and murder, whom they asked. But he delivered Yehusha to their will.

Matthew 27:26a Then he released Barabba to them. ...

Yehusha is taken away

Matthew 27:26b ...And having scourged Yehusha with whips, he delivered him up that he might be crucified.

Mark 15:15c ....And having flogged him, he delivered up Yehusha, that he might be crucified.

Mark 15:16 And the soldiers led him away inside the court, which is the praetorium. And they called together all the cohort.

Matthew 27:27 Then taking Yehusha into the praetorium, the soldiers of the governor gathered all the cohort against him.

Matthew 27:30 And spitting at him, they took the reed and struck at his head.

Mark 15:19 And they struck his head with a reed, and spat at him. And placing the knees, they bowed to him.

Matthew 27:31 And when they had mocked him, they stripped off his cloak, and they put his garments on him and led him away to crucify him.

Mark 15:20 And when they had mocked him, they took the purple off him, and put his own garments on him. And they led him out, that they might crucify him.

On the way to Golgotha (Thursday 23/1)

Luke 23:26 And as they led him away, having laid hold on a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from a field, they put the cross beam on him, to bear it behind Yehusha.

Matthew 27:32 And going out, they found a man, a Cyrenean, named Simon. They compelled this one, that he carry his cross beam.

Mark 15:21 And they compelled one passing by, Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from a field, the father of Alexander and Rufus, that he might carry his cross beam.

Matthew 27:33 And coming to a place called Golgotha, which is called, the "skull" (head),

Mark 15:22 And they brought him to Golgotha Place, which is, being translated, Place of a Skull (head).

Luke 23:27 And a great multitude of people were following him, and of women who also were bewailing and lamenting him.

Luke 23:28 And turning to them, Yehusha said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over me, but weep over yourselves and over your children.

Luke 23:29 For behold, days will come in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that did not bear, and breasts that did not nurse.

Luke 23:30 “Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! And to the hills, Cover us!” (Hos. 10:8)

Luke 23:31 For if they do these things in a live green tree, what may take place in the dry?

Matthew 27:34 they gave him vinegar mingled with gall to drink. And having tasted, he would not drink.

Mark 15:23 And they gave him wine spiced with myrrh to drink. But he did not take it.

The crucifixion (Thursday 23/1)

Matthew 27:35 And having crucified him, they divided his garments, casting a lot, that might be fulfilled that spoken by the prophet, “They divided my garments to themselves, and they cast a lot over my clothing.” (Psa. 22:18)

Matthew 27:36 And sitting down, they guarded him there

Mark 15:24 And having crucified him, they divided his garments, casting a lot on them, who and what each should take. (Psa. 22:18)

Luke 23:34 And Yehusha said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing his garments, they cast a lot. (Psa. 22:18)

Mark 15:25 And it was the third hour and they crucified him.

The mocking

Matthew 27:37 And they placed over his head the reason for his death in writing: THIS IS YEHUSHA , THE KING OF THE YAHUDIM.

Mark 15:26 And the inscription of his charge was written over him, THE KING OF THE YAHUDIM.

Luke 23:38 And also an inscription was written over him, in Greek, Latin and Hebrew letters: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Matthew 27:39 But those passing by, blasphemed him, shaking their heads,

Matthew 27:40 and saying, You the one razing the sanctuary and building it in three days, if you are the son of Elohim, come down from the torture stake.

Matthew 27:41 And in the same way, the chief priests with the scribes and elders, mocking, said,

Matthew 27:42 he saved others; he is not able to save himself. If he is the King of Israel, let him come down now from the torture stake and we will believe him.

Matthew 27:43 He trusted on Elohim. Let him rescue him now, if he desires him. For he said, I am son of Elohim.

Matthew 27:44 And also the bandits crucified with him defamed him, saying the same.

Mark 15:29 And also those who were passing by were blaspheming against him and nodding their heads and saying, “He will tear down the temple and build it in three days. Indeed!

Mark 15:30 Save yourself and come down from the torture stake.

Mark 15:31 And also the chief priests and the scribes mocking to one another said likewise, he saved others; he is not able to save himself.

Mark 15:32 The Messiah, the king of Israel? Let him now come down from the torture stake that we may see and believe. And the ones crucified with him defamed him.

Luke 23:35 And the people stood watching. And the rulers with them also scoffed, saying he saved others; let him save himself, if this one is the Messiah, the chosen of Elohim.

Luke 23:36 And coming near, the soldiers also mocked him and were offering vinegar to him,

Luke 23:37 and saying, If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.

The two robbers

Matthew 27:38 Then two bandits were crucified with him, one off the right, and one off the left of him.

Mark 15:27 And they crucified two robbers with him, one off the right, and one off the left of him.

Mark 15:28 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “He was numbered with the lawless.” (Isa. 53:12)

Luke 23:32 And coming with him were two others, doers of evil to be killed.

Luke 23:33 And when they came to a certain place, which is called “Skull”, they crucified him there and those doers of evil, one at his right and one at his left.

Luke 23:39 And one of the hanged criminals blasphemed him, saying, If you are the Messiah, save yourself and us.

Luke 23:40 And his companion rebuked him and said to him, you are not even afraid of Elohim, because even you are in that judgment.

Luke 23:41 And we are deserving justly, for as we have done we have been repaid. But that which is hateful has not been done by this man

Luke 23:42 And he said to Yehusha, Master, remember me when you come in your Kingdom.

Luke 23:43 And Yehusha said to him, Truly, to you I say now with me you will be in Paradise.

Friends & family

Matthew 27:55 And many women were there, watching from afar off, those who followed Yehusha from Galilee, ministering to him;

Matthew 27:56 among whom was Mariam Magdalene, and Mariam the mother of Jacob and Hosea, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

Mark 15:40 And also women were watching from a distance, among whom also was Mariam Magdalene; also Mariam the mother of Jacob the less, and of Hosea, and Salome

Mark 15:41 who also followed him and ministered to him when he was in Galilee; and many other women who came up to Jerusalem with him.

Luke 23:49 And all those known to him stood at a distance, and the women, those who accompanied him from Galilee, were seeing these things.

The death of Christ

Matthew 27:45 And from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

Mark 15:33 And it being the sixth hour, darkness came over all the land until the ninth hour.

Luke 23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land until the ninth hour.

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour, Yehusha cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama shabakthani; that is, My El, my El, why have You forsaken/released me? (Psa. 22:1)

Mark15:34 And at the ninth hour Yehusha cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? (Which being translated is, “My El, my El, why have You forsaken/ released me?” (Psa. 22:1)

Matthew 27:47 And hearing, some of those standing there said, This one calls Elijah.

Mark 15:35 And hearing, some of those standing by said, Behold, he calls Elijah.

Matthew 27:48 And at once, one of them running and taking a sponge, and filling it with “vinegar,” put it on a reed and “gave drink to him.” (Psa. 69:21)

Mark15:36a And one running up, and filling a sponge with “vinegar,” and putting it on a reed, “gave him to drink.”

Matthew 27:49 But the rest said, Let be; let us see if Elijah is coming to save him.

Mark 15:36b But they said, Leave alone, let us see if Elijah comes to take him down. (Psa.69:21)

Matthew 27:50 And crying again with a loud voice, Yehusha released his spirit.

Mark 15:37 And letting out a great cry, Yehusha died.

Luke 23:46 And crying with a loud voice, Yehusha said, Father, “into Your hands I place my spirit.” And saying this, he breathed out the spirit. (Psa. 31:5)

Matthew 27:51 And, behold! The veil of the sanctuary was torn into two from above as far as below. And the earthquake, and the rocks were sheared!

Mark 15:38 And the veil of the Holy Place was torn into two, from top to bottom

Luke 23:45 And the sun failed & died out, and the veil of the sanctuary was torn in the middle.

Matthew 27:52 And the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised.

Matthew 27:53 And coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and were seen by many.

Matthew 27:54 But the centurion and those with him guarding Yehusha , seeing the earthquake and the things taking place, they feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this one was son of Elohim.

Mark 15:39 And standing off across from him, seeing that he had cried out so, and he died, the centurion said, Truly, this man was son of Elohim.

Luke 23:47 And seeing the thing happening, the centurion glorified Elohim, saying, Truly, this man was righteous.

The body remains hanging on the acursed wood

Luke 23:48 And all the crowd arriving together at this sight, watching the thing happening, beating their breasts, they returned.

The Burial (Friday 24/1)

Mark 15:42 And it becoming late afternoon already, since it was Preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

Matthew 27:57b And late afternoon, having come, a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Yehusha,

Mark 15:43a Joseph of Arimathea came, an honorable councilor, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of Elohim. ...

Luke 23:50 And, behold, a man named Joseph, being a councilor, a good and righteous man.

Luke 23:51 This one was not assenting to their counsel and deed; he was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews; and who himself was eagerly expecting the kingdom of Elohim,

Mark 15:43b ...  And taking courage, he went in to Pilate and begged the body of Yehusha.

Matthew 27:58a Coming up to Pilate, this one asked for the body of Yehusha. ...

Luke 23:52 Coming near to Pilate, this one asked for the body of Yehusha.

Mark 15:44 And Pilate marveled if he had already died. And calling the centurion near, he asked him if he died already.

Mark 15:45 And knowing from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
Matthew 27:58b .... Then Pilate commanded the body to be given.

Matthew 27:59 And taking the body, Joseph wrapped it in a shroud of fine linen,

Mark 15:46a  And having bought a linen cloth, and having taken him down, he wrapped him in the linen,

Luke 23:53a  And he took it down and wrapped it in a shroud of linen.

Matthew 27:60 and he laid it in his new tomb which was hewn in rock. And they rolled a large boulder and they placed it upon the entrance of the tomb. And they departed.

Mark 15:46b  and laid him in a tomb which was cut out of rock. And he rolled a stone against the mouth of the tomb.

Luke 23:53b  and laid it in a hewn tomb that which no man had yet been placed.

Luke 23:54 And the day was of Preparation and the Sabbath was approaching [dawning]

Matthew 27:61 And there was Mariam Magdalene and the other Mariam, sitting across from the grave.

Mark 15:47 And Mariam Magdalene, and Mariam of Hosea, saw where he was laid.

Luke 23:55 And having followed, also the women who were accompanying him out of Galilee, watched the tomb, and how his body was placed.

The Weekly Sabbath (Saturday 25/1)

Matthew 27:62 And on the next day, which was the day after the Preparation (that is the weekly Sabbath), the chief priests and the Pharisees were gathered with Pilate,

Matthew 27:63 saying, Sir, we have recalled that that deceiver while living said, After three days I will rise.

Matthew 27:64 Therefore, command that the grave be secured until the third day, that his disciples may not come by night and steal him away, and may say to the people, he is raised from the dead. And the last deception will be worse than the first.

Matthew 27:65 And Pilate said to them, You have the guards. Go and take precautions as you know.

Matthew 27:66 And they departed and took precautions by the grave and set a seal upon that stone together with the guards.

Luke 23:56b ... And indeed they (the women) rested on the Sabbath, according to the commandment.

The Resurrection (Sunday 26/1)

Luke 23:56a And returning, they (the women) had prepared spices and perfume. ...

Mark 16:1 And when the Sabbath was ending, Mariam Magdalene and Mariam the mother of Jacob and Salome, bought spices, so that coming they might anoint him.

Matthew 28:1 But, after the Sabbath, the day dawning into the one-from-the-Sabbath (first day of the week), Mariam of Magdalene and the other Mariam came to look upon the grave.

Mark 16:2 And very early, one-from-the-Sabbath (first day of the week), they came to the cemetery as the sun was rising.

Luke 24:1 And one-from-the-Sabbath (first day of the week), at early dawn, they came on the tomb, carrying spices which they prepared; and some were with them.

Mark 16:3 And they said to themselves, Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?

Matthew 28:2 And, behold! A great earthquake occurred! For descending from Heaven and coming near, a cherub of the LORD [YHWH] rolled away the stone from the door and was sitting on it.

Matthew 28:3 And his face was as lightning and his clothing white as snow.

Matthew 28:4 And those keeping guard were shaken from the fear of him, and they became as dead.

Mark 16:4 And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back; for it was very large.

Luke 24:3 And going in, they did not find the body of the Master Yehusha.

Luke 24:4a And it happened, as they were astonished about this,

Mark 16:5 And having entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, having been clothed in a white robe. And they were much amazed.

Luke 24:4b even behold, two men in shining clothing stood above them.

Matthew 28:5 But answering, the cherub said to the women, You must not fear, for I know that you seek Yehusha who has been crucified.

Mark 16:6a But he said to them, Do not be amazed. You seek Yehusha the Nazarene who has been crucified.

Luke 24:5 And they becoming terrified, and bowing their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why do you seek the living with the dead?

Matthew 28:6 He is not here, for he was raised, as he said. Come see the place where he was lying.

Mark 16:6b He was raised. He is not here. See the place where they put him?

Luke 24:6 He is not here, but was raised. Remember how he spoke to you, yet being in Galilee,

Luke 24:7 saying, The son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and to be crucified, and on the third day he will rise again.

Luke 24:8 And they remembered his words.

Matthew 28:7 And going quickly say to his disciples that he was raised from the dead. And behold! he goes before you into Galilee. You will see him there. Behold! I told you.

Matthew 28:8 And going away from the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, they ran to report to his disciples.

Mark 16:8 And going out quickly, they fled from the tomb. And trembling and amazement took hold of them. And they told no one, not a thing, for they were afraid.

Mark 16:9a And having risen and now early on one-from-the-Sabbath (first day of the week).

Mark 16:9b He first appeared to Mariam Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

Mark 16:10 Going, she reported to those having been with him, who were mourning and weeping.

Luke 24:9 And returning from the tomb, they reported all these things to the Eleven, and to all the rest.

Luke 24:10 And they were Mariam Magdalene, Joanna, and Mariam mother of Jacob, and the rest with them, who told these things to the apostles.

Matthew 28:9 But as they were going to report to his disciples, behold, Yehusha also met them, saying, Peace unto you (shalom)! And coming near, they grabbed his feet and worshiped him.

Matthew 28:10 Then Yehusha said to them, Do not fear. Go tell your brothers that they may go into Galilee, and there they will see me.

 Mark 16:11 And those having heard that he lives, and was seen by her, they did not believe.

Luke 24:11 And their words seemed like foolishness to them, and they did not believe them.

Luke 24:12 But rising up, Peter ran to the tomb, and stooping down he saw the linen lying alone. And he went away wondering to himself at what had happened.

The Guards 

Matthew 28:11 And they, having gone, behold, some of the guard coming into the city reported to the chief priests all things that occurred.

Matthew 28:12 And being assembled with the elders, and taking counsel, they gave enough silver to the soldiers,

Matthew 28:13 saying, Say that his disciples came and stole him by night, while we slept.

Matthew 28:14 And if this is heard by the governor, we will persuade him and he will not make trouble for you.

Matthew 28:15 And taking the silver, they did as they were instructed. And this report was spread by the Jews until today.

Two of them walking

Mark 16:12 And after these things, he was revealed in a different form to two of them walking and going into the country.

Mark 16:13 And going, those reported to the rest; not even did they believe those.

Luke 24:13 That same day (on the first day of the week - Lk 24:1) two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven milesb from Jerusalem.

Luke 24:14 And they talked to each other about all these things taking place.

Luke 24:15 And it happened, as they talked and reasoned, coming near, Yehusha himself traveled with them.

Luke 24:16 But their eyes were held so as not to recognize him.

Luke 24:17 And he said to them, What are these words that you speak one with the other while you are walking and you are sad?

Luke 24:18 And answering, one of them whose name was Cleopas, said to him, Are you the only one who resides in Jerusalem and do not know the things happening in it in these days?

Luke 24:19 And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things concerning Yehusha the Nazarene, who was a man, a prophet mighty in deed and word before Elohim and all the people;

Luke 24:20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to the judgment of death, and crucified him.

Luke 24:21 But we were hoping he was the one who would redeem Israel. And besides all this, it is the third day since these things took place.

Luke 24:22 And also some of our women astounded us, having been early at the tomb,

Luke 24:23 and not finding his body, they came saying to have seen a vision of cherubs also, who say him to be alive.

Luke 24:24 And some of those with us went to the tomb, and found it so, even as the women also said; but they did not see him.

Luke 24:25 And he said to them, O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe on all things which the prophets spoke!

Luke 24:26 Was it not necessary for the Messiah to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?

Luke 24:27 And beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, he explained to them the things about himself in all the Scriptures.

Luke 24:28 And they drew near to the village where they were going, and he seemed to be going further.

Luke 24:29 And they constrained him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day has declined. And he went in to stay with them.

Luke 24:30 And it happened as he reclined with them, having taken bread, he blessed, and having broken he gave to them.

Luke 24:31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him. And he became invisible from them.

Luke 24:32 And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us as he spoke to us in the highway, and as he opened up to us the Scriptures?

Luke 24:33 And rising up in the same hour, they went back to Jerusalem, and they found the eleven, and those with them, having been gathered,

Luke 24:34 saying, The Master really was raised and appeared to Simon.

Luke 24:35 And they related the things in the highway, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

Yehusha appears to the disciples

Mark 16:14a And finally he appeared to the eleven while they were reclining,

Luke 24:36 And as they were telling these things, Yehusha himself stood in their midst, and said to them, Peace to you (shalom)!

Luke 24:37 But being terrified, and being filled with fear, they thought they saw a ghost.

Mark 16:14b and he reviled the lack of their faith and the hardness of their hearts, since those who had seen him, that he had risen, they did not believe.

Luke 24:38 And he said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do doubts come up in your hearts.

Luke 24:39 See my hands and my feet, it is I. Feel me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see me having.

Luke 24:40 And saying this, he showed them his hands and feet.

Luke 24:41a But yet they not believing from the joy, and marveling,

Luke 24:41b He said to them, Have you any food here?

Luke 23:42 And they handed a broiled part of a fish to him, and from a honeycomb.

Luke 24:43 And taking these before them, he ate.

Luke 24:44 And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that all the things must be fulfilled having been written in the Torah of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me.

Luke 24:45 Then he opened up their mind to understand the Scriptures,

Luke 24:46 and said to them, So it is written, and so the Messiah must suffer, and to rise from the dead on the third day.

Luke 24:47 And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Luke 24:48 And you are witnesses of these things.

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send forth the promise of my Father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.

Disciples go into Galilee

Matthew 28:16 But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mount where Yehusha appointed them.

Matthew 28:17 And seeing him, they worshiped him. But some of them doubted.

Matthew 28:18 And coming up Yehusha talked with them, saying, All authority in heaven and on earth was given to me.

Luke 24:50 He led them out as far as to Bethany. And lifting up his hands, he blessed them.

Luke 24:51 And it happened that while he blessed them, he was separated from them and ascended into heaven.

Luke 24:52 And worshiping him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

Luke 24:53 and were continually in the sanctuary, praising and blessing Elohim. Amen.

Preaching the good news

Matthew 28:19 Then having gone, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the son,

Matthew 28:20 and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen

Mark 16:15 And he said to them, Going into all the world, preach the good news to all the creation.

Mark 16:16 The one believing and being baptized will be saved. And the one not believing will be condemned.

Mark 16:17 And miraculous signs will follow to those believing these things: they will cast out demons in my name; they will speak new languages;

Mark 16:18 they will take up snakes; and if they drink anything deadly, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will be healed.

Mark 16:19 Then indeed, after speaking to them, the Master Yehusha was taken up into heaven, and sat off the right of Elohim. (Psa. 110:1)

Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached in all places. And our Master was helping them and establishing their words by the signs that they were doing.
