The expression “mia sabbaton”, or “one (from) Sabbath” have spurred debates on which day Messiah resurrected: the Sabbath, or Sunday.

The matter is settled by the Qumran texts where use of that same expression is a greater context, confirming that “one of the Sabbath” means ” the 1st day from the Sabbath” (Sunday).
