3rd Month /5th Day -5th from Sabbath (thursday) : Ascension Day

Ascension of Y’sha

Acts 1:1-3

In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

Mark 16:19

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

Luke 24:50-53

When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. 52Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

Ascension of Henock

Henock II 68:3

He wrote all these signs of all creation, which the Lord created, and wrote three hundred and sixty-six books, and handed them over to his sons and remained on earth thirty days, and was again taken up to heaven on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, on the very day and hour when he was born.

The month of Sivan is known to be the 3rd lunar month. Y’sha’s ascension occured in a time period corresponding to the 3rd biblical month. Both the 3rd lunar month & the 3rd biblical month correspond to May–June in the gregorian calendar.

Could it be that these two accounts of ascensions occured on the same month & on the same day? We’ll propose the following scenario:

The translator of Enock II used the terminology of “Sivan” to render the time marker of the 3rd month, & chose the current Jewish name for the 3rd month to be understood by his audience, namely the Jews. It could remain revealing to have access to Enock II’s original copy and see what slavonic word was used.

No matter the findings on the original copy of Enock II, the correspondence of the date for both ascensions is amazing: 40 days from FirstFruits lead us to the 5th day of the week; and amazingly enough, Enock was also taken on the 6th day of the 3rd lunar month.

Based on a lunar 354-day year, we can calculate that, from Nisan 1 to Sivan 6, the number of days equals 65 days (30+29+6=65). Simultaneously, we find that, on the Biblical calendar, from the 1st day of the 1st month to the 5th of the 3rd month, the number of days adds up to 65 days as well (30+30+5=65). In light of these elements, we will propose that the ascension of Y’sha occured the same day than Enock’s.

(PS It remains very unlikely that the translator would have been able to convert through his work of translation, an ancient date from the remote time of Enock, to a lunar cycle date of the time. Beyond the extreemly complex mathematical exercise for such a correspondence, the birth & taken-away of Enock are too ancient to allow such conversion. It is a more reasonable assumption, to think that the word “nisan” was chosen by the translator as a synonym to ” the 3rd month”.)
